OUR HOSTS

The ones who make it possible!

(Host Info Packages here - or links to their web sites here!)

Hundreds of people help make Rural Ramble possible.  At the centre of the whirlwinds are our hosts, who offer up their homes and businesses each year to provide the fascinating stops on the tour.

Being a host site on Rural Ramble is quite an experience and it is unique in some way each year.   Our hosts are farms, agri-businesses, conservation agencies, social groups, and partner organizations to all of the above, each contributing a thread to the amazing weave of rural living.   A host on the tour could be either an educational site or a commercial site.

Educational sites provide information and learning experiences about agriculture, agri-businesses and related things like land stewardship and food safety.   Commercial sites are hosts who operate a retail operation that depends on agriculture for its products or services.

Educational sites are limited to appearing on the tour for two consecutive years:  we are not able to give every deserving site a chance to participate otherwise.   If you are eager to continue participating after having done so for two years, we will welcome your re-application after your break in the third year.

If you think you would like to become a host site on future tours, please contact us!   We would be delighted to hear from you.

If you are already a host site on the upcoming tour and have mislaid any of your host package contents, you can get replacement paperwork here.
